Tasting Notes

Nose: Remarkably vibrant and "bright" for its age. It opens with an explosion of tropical fruits—overripe pineapple, passionfruit, and banana chips. There is a sophisticated "old-school" wood note, like varnished oak and dry wood shavings, which quickly settles into a creamy vanilla bean custard. A faint, curious hint of mint leaf and sea breezeprovides a fresh lift.

Palate: Much heavier and oilier than expected. The arrival is juicy and sweet, featuring canned peaches, mango, and lemon zest.
